A professional family with two boys, ages 2 and 7, is looking for late afternoon/evening and weekend nanny/household manager to start with them ASAP. The family is located in Middleton, WI and needs help either three week days and two weekend days or four week days and one weekend day.
The family is looking for a fun, energetic, reliable nanny to help with the boys after school routine and bedtime. While the nanny’s main focus would be on the youngest child, the family asks that the nanny also assist and support the older one when he needs it as well. The family is also looking for help with housekeeping and day to day tasks such as dinner preparation and various needs around the home. This includes but would not be limited to: laundry, kitchen clean up, tidying the house, meal prep, grocery shopping, errands etc. No day would be exactly the same so they would love someone who is flexible and can anticipate their needs.
The family wants someone the children can grow close with and they can see as part of their family. They are happy to be somewhat flexible with scheduling for the right candidate in hopes of finding someone reliable and consistent. They need someone who really bonds with their family and is considerate of their needs.
Hours would be 3pm to 7pm on week days and 9am to 1pm on the weekends. The family is open to a somewhat flexible schedule with Wednesdays and Thursdays being an absolute must and their hope is for more help on Saturday. They are looking for someone who is willing to work four week days and one weekend day or three week days and two weekend days. This can be explained more thoroughly in interviews.
The family is offering 15-20 hours per week. Hourly pay is $24-$28 per hour BOE.
The family is offering two weeks paid vacation per year. One week offered while the family is on vacation and the other of the nanny’s choosing. They are also offering paid holidays for major holidays and flexible work weeks for less major holidays as well as sick time for the nanny. The family will also reimburse gas for errands the nanny completes for the family.
They are looking for someone to start ASAP.
Note: This family has one cat.
